ASP- 20 Side Event
On 11 December 2020, together with No Peace Without Justice and the Bangladesh Embassy to the Netherlands, AJC and its members Fortify Rights, GCR2P, GJC, HRW, and Amnesty International co-convened a side event titled ‘Justice and Accountability for Sexual and Gender-Based Crimes Against the Rohingya’ during the 19th International Criminal Court Assembly of States Parties. The objective of this event was to hear directly from Rohingya human rights activists about their perspectives on justice and accountability, with a specific focus on sexual and gender-based crimes.
