On 14 October, the VOA news reported that Facebook has objected to the US District Judge’s order mandating release. The social network claimed that the court’s decision concerning private posts ‘creates grave human rights concerns of its own, leaving internet users’ private content unprotected and thereby susceptible to disclosure — at a provider’s whim — to private litigants, foreign governments, law enforcement, or anyone else’.
